1 Frame Error Rate
вероятность ошибки на кадр
Отношение числа кадров, принятых с ошибками, к общему числу кадров. Вероятность ошибки на кадр и вероятность стирания кадров достаточно близки по смыслу, однако полностью не идентичны. Стертые кадры всегда считаются ошибочными, однако обратное утверждение не совсем верно, т.е. не все ошибочные кадры являются стертыми. Связано это с тем, что имеются кадры, в которых приемник не смог обнаружить ошибки.

Технически - часть видеосигнала, содержащая пространственные данные одного полного изображения, или полного набора строк развёртки. В системе с чересстрочной развёрткой кадр состоит из двух полей (field). Обычная скорость воспроизведения видеофильма - 24 кадра в секундусм. тж. fps, frame address, frame buffer, frame-by-frame, frame doubler, frame grabber, frame rate, freeze-frame, keyframe2) кадрв компьютерных сетях и телекоммуникации - блок данных (пакет) фиксированного формата, передаваемый по сети или по каналу связи. Кадр содержит информацию об отправителе и получателе, флаги-признаки начала и конца, информацию контроля целостности.
